This one-of-a-kind mokume gane band is crafted in sandblasted platinum and 24K yellow gold, framed by polished 14K yellow rails. Loosely translated to "wood pattern metal" in Japanese, Mokume Gane is an ancient method introduced in 17th century Japan and was originally used to adorn samurai swords. Handmade by us in our Ann Arbor, Michigan-based studio.
