After closing his Cape Cod-based retail store of over three decades in 2014, veteran jeweler Michael Baksa moved his eponymous studio operation onto a boat, a unique circumstance which has lent an aspirational air of breezy natural wonder to his already-inimitable style. Working exclusively with 14k yellow gold (most often in a “crushed” style) and a wide variety of carefully sourced gemstones, Baksa specializes in distinctive statement pieces which dazzle the eye with their bold shapes and vibrant colors.
