Chris Ploof 14K Red Gold, White Gold and Silver Mokume Gane Birch Band

This mokume gane band in the Birch pattern showcases alternating layers of 14K red gold, nickel-free white gold, and sterling silver. Featuring an acid-etched texture, satin finish exterior, and polished interior, this ring is made with hypoallergenic 14K white gold alloyed with palladium.  Handmade by award-winning artist Chris Ploof in his Massachusetts-based studio.

Loosely translated to "wood pattern metal" in Japanese, Mokume Gane is an ancient method introduced in 17th century Japan which was originally used to adorn samurai swords. Chris Ploofcombines time-honored techniques with state of the art research and the finest materials to create one-of-a-kind rings. Each piece features a comfort fit interior to ensure the best possible fit.
