Diamonds have been celebrated since ancient times, and nearly every civilization has some kind of lore surrounding the stone. They are formed under extremely high temperatures and pressure conditions which only exist in nature about 100 miles beneath the Earth’s surface! Diamonds are so hard, they can only be scratched by another diamond. Diamond is both the traditional and modern birthstone for April.
