Unique tapered ring featuring the “Maple” pattern mokume gane in vibrant 18K yellow gold + sterling silver, set with a natural macle diamond. Handmade by award-winning artist Chris Ploof in his Massachusetts-based studio. 

Loosely translated to “wood pattern metal” in Japanese, Mokume Gane is an ancient method originally introduced in 17th century Japan and was originally used to adorn samurai swords. Chris combines time-honored techniques with state of the art research and the finest materials to create one-of-a-kind rings that are second to none. Each piece features a comfort fit interior to ensure the best possible fit.
