Natalie Erica Leat Zolg

Natalie has a BFA in Metalsmithing from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. After graduation she worked at Jack Seibert Goldsmith/Jeweler, the same fine jewelry store at which she interned and apprenticed. She moved home to Michigan in 2001 and joined the Abra team that fall as a goldsmith and designer. Though she’s worn many hats at Abra through the years, she now smiths part time and moms full time, living just north of Ann Arbor with her wonderful husband Nathan, their very busy twins Leo and Zoda, and Fritz the cat.

Natalie favors classic designs with intentional form, color, and texture. Fine details and clean lines lend themselves to timeless jewelry. Natalie loves yellow gold and platinum for their richness and soft luster. She is taken by the individuality of colored stones and pearls and never leaves a trip into nature without a pocketful of pretty rocks and other treasures. She is a Jewelers of America Certified Management Professional.
